Privacy policy

What we collect

When you ask for an audit, book a call or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, website address, a description of the problem, and your email address if you choose to add it. We also keep the record of your consent. When we run an audit, we look only at information about your business that is already public.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Why we collect it

We use your details to run the audit you asked for, to call or message you about it, to send you a booking link if you gave an email address, and to quote for work if you ask us to. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Who we share it with

We share your details only with the service providers we use to run the business: Google Workspace (email, calendar and the spreadsheet that stores enquiries) and Cloudflare (website hosting and analytics). Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, under their own data-protection commitments. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
